Virtua Tennis 4

Virtua Tennis 4 is a tennis game featuring many well-known professional tennis players. Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Andy Murray, Juan Martin Del Potro, Fernando Gonzalez, Laura Robson, and Caroline Wozniacki, among others, are present in this tennis game. New to the controls of this fourth installment is that players can no longer simply return a ball; they must also pay attention to the timing of their shot.

The game can be played with both a controller and Kinect for Xbox 360. When players choose the latter option, returning the ball is no longer a matter of pressing a button, but actually imitating a tennis stroke with your own arm. In that case, the console takes care of the tennis player's movement. However, you decide when to approach the net.

An important option in the game is the World Tour career mode. This divides the game into four seasons. The seasons are spread across a large board game, where players advance by rolling a digital dice. Each square represents a separate event; for example, a tournament or an injury.
