Rainbow Six Vegas features a new team and a new leader. The new heroes in this game all have their own skills. Logan Keller is the team leader and reconnaissance expert. Michael Walter specializes in heavy weapons and explosives. The last member of the team is Jung Park, who works best at long distances and is an electronics expert. Your team members, Park and Walter, will make suggestions in the game, for example, to break through walls or hack computers.
The gameplay revolves around observing, planning, and attacking. You must play this game by playing tactically and intelligently using the different team members. You also have the option to use all kinds of technical aids such as the 'snake cam'. This small camera can be slid under doors to see what and who is behind the doors. If there are enemies behind a door, you can select them with the 'snake cam' and instruct your team members to eliminate them when they storm in.
Rainbow Six Vegas draws you into the game more than previous Rainbow Six games because missions, for example, are explained during gameplay. For example, you can receive a mission explanation while bullets are whizzing past your ears. The game feels more realistic because all player animations are much more believable. This is because all attack and other techniques have been motion-captured. The artificial intelligence has also been improved. The further you progress in the game, the more intelligent the opponents become. They will increasingly work together as a team to eliminate you and your team.
