God of War, developed by Sony Computer Entertainment America's Santa Monica Studios, is a bloody action-adventure based on the fantastic and dark world of ancient Greek mythology. You are the impressive and mighty warrior Kratos, who is determined to destroy Ares, the god of war. To do this, you must slaughter some of the most infamous (and largest) creatures in history.

The merciless Kratos is armed with the terrible Blades of Chaos, two flaming swords chained to his body, and various gifts from the gods. He will not hesitate to destroy everything and everyone in his path.

God of War adds a new dimension to the action-adventure genre by combining cinematic quality with fluid, blood-soaked gameplay.
