Product Description

“Pokémon LeafGreen” is the remake of the original “Pokémon Blue”, released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004 (USA version). Players once again explore the Kanto region, collect the original 151 Pokémon, defeat Gym Leaders, and compete for the title of champion in the Pokémon League. The game retains the classic storyline and gameplay of the original version, but with refreshed graphics, sound, and extra features such as the addition of the Sevii Islands for an expanded post-game adventure.

Fun Fact: Although “Pokémon LeafGreen” is the remake of “Pokémon Blue”, the original Japanese version of this game was based on “Pocket Monsters Green”, which was never released outside Japan.
Fun Fact: Like “Pokémon FireRed”, “LeafGreen” was often sold with a Wireless Adapter, allowing players to trade and battle wirelessly instead of using the traditional Game Link Cable.
Fun Fact: In “LeafGreen”, players could for the first time in the series visit the Pokémon Center on the Sevii Islands, a location specifically added to the remake, where new second-generation Pokémon could be caught.
