NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Storm is a cel-shaded fighting game where players control iconic characters from the Naruto series in full 3D arenas. You use powerful ninjutsu, evade attacks with acrobatic movements, can even use walls and water, and create special combinations with support characters. The game features a narrative Story Mode that follows the events of the Part I anime, and also offers Team Battles and Free Battle modes.

  1. Full 3D field in the series: This was the first Naruto game to use fully 3D environments, allowing for more spectacular, dynamic battles and limited freedom of movement outside the traditional 2D fighting planes.

  2. Awakening Mode: When a character has taken enough damage, they can transform via "Awakening Mode" — this provides new moves, increased speed, and strength, which can turn the tide of a battle.

  3. Support character system: For the first time, you can select two support characters to assist you in battles with attacks or buffs, adding visible strategic depth to traditional one-on-one fights.
