Product Description
L.A. Noire is a unique detective game set in 1940s Los Angeles. You play as Cole Phelps, a war veteran working his way up through the police force and investigating various cases, ranging from simple traffic violations to complex murder mysteries. During investigations, you collect clues, interrogate suspects, and try to distinguish lies from the truth.
What sets L.A. Noire apart from other open-world games is its emphasis on detective work. It focuses less on action and more on observation, gathering evidence, and logical reasoning. The advanced facial animations were groundbreaking at the time and play a key role during interrogations, where you must judge whether someone is telling the truth.
The atmospheric reconstruction of post-war Los Angeles, the strong storylines, and the mature approach make L.A. Noire one of the most original games on the PlayStation 3. Highly recommended for players who enjoy crime stories, detective work, and a more thoughtful gaming experience.
