"Pokémon Red" is one of the very first Pokémon games released in Europe in 1999 (PAL version) for the Game Boy, along with "Pokémon Blue". In "Pokémon Red", players can travel through the Kanto region and catch, train, and evolve 151 Pokémon. The player must become the best Pokémon Trainer by defeating all eight Gym Leaders and ultimately winning the Pokémon League.
The PAL version of "Pokémon Red", just like the "Blue" version, is highly sought after by collectors. A complete copy with the box and manual in good condition can increase significantly in value. Especially original releases from 1999 with minimal wear are highly appreciated. Together with "Pokémon Blue", "Red" forms one of the most iconic duos in the Pokémon franchise.
