Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO is a crossover fighting game pitting the greatest fighters from the Capcom and SNK universes against each other. With over 40 characters, multiple styles (“Grooves”), and strategic depth, the game delivers an intense and versatile 2D fighting experience. The “EO” (Easy Operation) version on Xbox adds optional control schemes for newcomers, while the classic mode stays true to the arcade feel.

Three interesting facts:

  1. Six fighting styles + one secret Groove
    Players can choose from six different “Grooves,” each based on mechanics from previous Capcom and SNK titles (such as Street Fighter Alpha, King of Fighters, or Street Fighter III). There's even a secret “Custom Groove” that allows you to create your own style.
  2. 'EO' controls specifically for beginners
    The “Easy Operation” mode uses the right stick to easily activate special attacks, allowing less experienced players to jump right in. Perfect for casual matches without having to memorize all the combos.
  3. Online play via Xbox Live
    Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO was one of the first traditional 2D fighters with online support on console. While limited in features, it was a significant step at the time towards competitive online fighting outside of the arcade.
