In Jedi Academy, you step into the boots of Jaden Korr, a young Padawan being trained at Luke Skywalker's new Jedi Academy. As a student of Kyle Katarn (known from previous Jedi Knight games), you learn the ways of the Force, build your own lightsaber, and travel to different worlds to stop a new threat. With fluid lightsaber combat, Force powers, and freedom in your path, Jedi Academy offers an immersive and action-packed Star Wars experience.

Three interesting facts:

1. Full lightsaber customization
   You not only choose the color of your lightsaber but also its style. Later in the game, you can even dual-wield or use a double-bladed saber like Darth Maul — each with a unique playstyle.
2. Free mission order and choice system
   You choose the order in which you complete missions and make moral choices that determine whether you remain loyal to the Jedi or are tempted by the Dark Side. This also influences the game's ending.
3. Multiplayer with lightsaber duels
   The Xbox version includes local and online multiplayer modes where you can fight against friends in lightsaber duels, free-for-all, and team battles. A rare feature for a console Star Wars title at the time.
