Based on the 2003 film of the same name, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines places you in the middle of the war between man and machine. You take on the role of a T-850 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) who travels back in time to protect John Connor from Skynet's newest threat: the deadly T-X. The game combines first-person shooting with some third-person combat and features exclusive scenes and action not seen in the film, with Arnold himself providing voice acting.

Three interesting facts:

1. Arnold Schwarzenegger voiced his role
   The game features original voice recordings by Arnold, specially made for the game. It was the first time his voice was heard in a Terminator video game.
2. Includes film footage and extra storylines
   In addition to clips from the cinema film, the game also contains exclusive cinematics that provide extra background on the war between humanity and Skynet — including scenes from before Judgment Day.
3. Unique hand-to-hand combat system
   Certain sections switch to third-person when you take on other Terminators, allowing you to use powerful combos and environmental objects to destroy your enemies.
