    Obsidian was given extremely little time to develop the game. While this led to some unfinished story elements and bugs, the core of the game was praised for its depth and moral complexity. Fans later restored "lost" content on PC via mods.
  2. Philosophical undertones and moral gray areas
    Unlike the hero-vs-villain approach of many Star Wars stories, KOTOR II delves deep into themes such as guilt, redemption, and the ambiguity of the Force. The mysterious Kreia – your mentor – is one of the most complex figures in Star Wars history.
  3. More influence on your companions
    Your choices not only affect your path towards the Light or Dark Side, but also the development of your crew. Some companions can even become Jedi themselves, depending on your influence on their mindset and actions.
