Based on Ang Lee's 2003 film, Hulk is a third-person action game where you play as both Bruce Banner and his enraged alter ego, the Hulk. Switch between stealthy gameplay as Banner and pure destructive power as the Hulk as you battle military forces, genetic experiments, and evil from both within and without. The game offers a standalone story that serves as a spiritual sequel to the film.

 

Three interesting facts:

  1. Cel-shaded comic-style graphics
    Instead of realistic visuals, a stylish, comic book-like look was chosen. This cel-shaded style gave the game a unique visual identity that stayed closer to the source material (the comics) than the film itself.
  2. Story written by a Marvel legend
    The story was specially written for the game by Paul Jenkins, a renowned Marvel writer who previously worked on The Incredible Hulk comics. This makes it feel more like a true comic than a movie game.
  3. Environments are fully destructible as Hulk
    As Hulk, you can smash enemies, break walls, demolish vehicles, and shatter entire rooms. Everything about the level design is intended to express your strength and rage.
