MX vs ATV Supercross is an off-road racing game where you race at high speed over muddy tracks with motocross bikes (MX) and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). The game is all about tight turns, high jumps, and aggressive competition. With 17 official Supercross tracks, 60 professional riders, a career mode, and split-screen multiplayer, it offers plenty of action for motorsport fans.

The game was developed by Rainbow Studios and published by Nordic Games, after the bankruptcy of THQ, the original publisher of the series. The style is arcade-like with a touch of realism in physics and vehicle behavior.

  1. Series reboot after THQ’s demise: After THQ's closure in 2013, MX vs ATV was acquired by Nordic Games (later THQ Nordic), which revived the series with Supercross as a fresh reboot.
  2. Famous riders and teams: The game features official AMA Supercross licenses, including real riders and sponsors, making it more authentic for motorsport fans.
  3. Multiplayer split-screen and online: Despite its modest production, the game offered both local 2-player split-screen and online races for up to 12 players — a rarity for niche racing games on the Xbox 360.
