Red Dead Revolver is a third-person action game set in the rugged Wild West, packed with gun duels, bounty hunts, and revenge. You step into the boots of Red Harlow, a lone gunslinger seeking justice after the murder of his parents. With its episodic structure, unique characters, and cinematic style, this game laid the groundwork for what would later become the Red Dead franchise.

Three interesting facts:

1. Originally a Capcom project
   The game began as a collaboration between Capcom and Angel Studios, heavily inspired by classic spaghetti westerns. When the project stalled, Rockstar took over, brought it to life, and gave it that typical Rockstar stamp.
2. Dead Eye debuted here
   The distinctive ‘Dead Eye’ system – where you slow down time to accurately mark targets – was first introduced here. It was later refined and made iconic in Red Dead Redemption.
3. Episodic structure with multiple playable characters
   The story campaign is structured as a series of short chapters, each with its own setting and sometimes even other playable characters. This gave the game a varied structure that was unusual for shooters at the time.
