Borderlands 2 is the sequel to the cult classic Borderlands, combining fast-paced first-person shooter action with RPG elements. You choose from four (later six) unique Vault Hunters, each with their own abilities and skill trees. The game is once again set on the planet Pandora, where you face off against the charismatic but cruel villain Handsome Jack.
The world is colorful, full of dark humor, insane enemies, and endless amounts of loot. Borderlands 2 can be played solo, but truly shines in co-op with 2 to 4 players.

- Borderlands 2 introduced the character Tiny Tina, who later even got her own spin-off: Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
- The game has over 17 million weapons (due to an automated loot system).
- The original four Vault Hunters from Borderlands 1 return as important NPCs.
- The humor and style are inspired by Mad Max, westerns, and pulp science fiction.
- Six expansions were released, including Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, which is considered one of the best DLCs ever made.
