Product Description:

Freedom Fighters is a third-person action game for the PlayStation 2 in which you fight in an alternate New York that has been invaded by the Soviet army. You play as Christopher Stone, an ordinary plumber who rises to become the leader of the resistance. As you carry out missions to retake the city, you must engage in combat in streets, buildings, and underground tunnels. The game combines intense action with a team mechanic: you can recruit freedom fighters and give them orders to attack or defend enemy positions together.

1. Unique recruitment system
   During missions, you earn charisma by achieving objectives or freeing prisoners. This allows you to recruit additional resistance fighters to join you in combat.

2. Alternate history scenario
   The story is set in a world where the Soviet Union won the Cold War and America is under attack, which was a striking twist at the time.

3. Created by the Hitman studio
   Danish developer IO Interactive, known for the Hitman series, brought an action-packed game that clearly distinguished itself from their stealth franchise.
