Cars Race-O-Rama is a racing adventure game for PlayStation 2 in which you control Lightning McQueen during the Race-O-Rama tournament. The game is set in five open worlds, including Radiator Springs, where you can participate in various types of races such as circuit races, relay races, and point-to-point races. In addition to Lightning McQueen, you can also control other characters, such as Guido in special kart events. Throughout the campaign, you can visually upgrade Lightning McQueen by customizing parts like bumpers, spoilers, and wheels.
