Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is a team-based third-person shooter within the Resident Evil franchise. Players take on the role of U.S.S. (Umbrella Security Service) members and battle against zombies, bio-organic weapons, and even other survivors in grueling missions around Raccoon City. The game focuses on tactical cooperation, betrayal, and multiple sides of the story—for both Umbrella agents and familiar RE character types from previous games.

1. Two perspectives: Missions vary between controlling Umbrella agents with your team and exposing betrayal within the U.S.S.—while sometimes also hunting down familiar game characters from previous installments.
